About us
Montevitis Project
MONTEVITIS is a 3-year Horizon Europe project, funded by the European Union (Grant Agreement number 101059461) under the special Twinning call for Western Balkans HORIZONWIDERA-2021-ACCESS-02 that aims to promote networking between research institutes of the Western Balkan countries and top-class leading counterparts at the EU level, in the field of precision viticulture and climate change.
Why our mission matters
Precision Viticulture
Precision viticulture uses new methodologies and technologies (e.g., sensors, datasets, modelling tools, ICT applications, etc.) to predict how certain parameters (soil, topography, atmospheric conditions, etc.) affect vineyard production and performance, enabling the application of appropriate viticulture management strategies.
